Two Gold Mines Have Been Discovered In Odisha, Says Steel & Mines Minister Jena

Bhubaneswar, Feb 20: Bibhuti Bhshan Jena, Minister of Steel & Mines, said Thursday that two gold mines have been discovered in Odisha.
He said that the gold mines have been discovered in Adas-Ramapalli area of Deogarh district and Gopur-Gajipur area of Keonjhar district.
Geological Survey of India (GSI) has completed G-2 level exploration in Adas-Rampally area of Deogarh district and G-3 level exploration in Gopur-Gajipur area of Keonjhar district.
After having satisfactory results from the exploration, the G-2 level exploration is underway by the Geological Survey of India (GSI) and State Directorate of Mines and Geology in collaboration.
Jena said that further action will be taken on the recommendation of the technical committee after the final report is submitted by the investigating agencies.
