Bhubaneswar, Aug 16: A two-day orientation programme for newly elected MLAs, named "Gyan Sanskar Abhyas Karykram' will be launched in the State Assembly premises tomorrow.
The Assembly tradition has it that newly elected MLAs are trained about their participation in debates and rules of conduct of business of the House. This time, a whopping 87 new MLAs have been elected. They need to be trained, said Parliamentary Affairs Minister Mukesh Mahaling.
He said senior Lok Sabha Members will participate in the two-day orientation programme.
Meanwhile, BJD leaders have said they would not joing the programme.

He said the training programme will be held in the Assembly premises on August 17 and 18.
