Cuttack, May 31: After Bhubaneswar, two cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Cuttack City on Friday.

According to the Cuttack Chief District Medical Officer (CDMO) Prashant Hota, the affected includes a 45-year-old man from Jhola Sahi, while the other is a 71-year-old elderly individual, a resident of Nua Rausapatna.

According to reports, the younger patient is currently under home quarantine, while the elderly individual is receiving treatment at a private hospital.

The health department team is closely monitoring both patients' conditions. Notably, neither of them has any recent travel history.

Authorities have assured that necessary medical support is being provided, and further updates on their health status will be shared as investigations continue.
