Cuttack, May 31: After Bhubaneswar, two cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Cuttack City on Friday.
According to the Cuttack Chief District Medical Officer (CDMO) Prashant Hota, the affected includes a 45-year-old man from Jhola Sahi, while the other is a 71-year-old elderly individual, a resident of Nua Rausapatna.
According to reports, the younger patient is currently under home quarantine, while the elderly individual is receiving treatment at a private hospital.
The health department team is closely monitoring both patients' conditions. Notably, neither of them has any recent travel history.
