Angul, Jan 31:  In a tragic mishap, a truck driver was killed after his vehicle collided with a trailer- truck at Nakachi Ranibhuin on the Angul-Sambalpur national highway under the Handapa police station in Angul district this morning. 

The deceased has been identified as Suresh Parida, a resident of Durgapur village under Chhindipada block. 
According to the information, the two vehicles collided head-on at around 6.30 am today. The truck driver died on the spot.   

On being informed, the Handapa police reached the spot and started an investigation, while tension prevailed in the area for some time.
