Mayurbhanj, Jun 8: A truck driver lost his life in an accident on Jagannathkhunta Overbridge under Bangiriposi police station limits in Mayurbhanj district.

The deceased driver has been identified as Samir Das, a resident of Garbeta in West Bengal.

According to reports, the truck, involved in the accident, reportedly collided with an unidentified vehicle from behind.

The truck driver, unfortunately, was crushed under his own vehicle’s wheels, succumbing to his injuries on the spot.

Following the incident, Bangiriposi police reached the spot and seized the body for post-mortem.

Further investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is underway. Authorities are continuing their inquiry to determine the cause and identify the vehicle responsible for the collision.
