Sonepur, Aug 7: A fatal road accident near Khari High School under Tarbha police limits in Sonepur district, claimed the life of one individual.

The deceased has been identified as Subrat Kumar Bhoi, a resident of Ghantarapali village.

According to reports, Subrat was reportedly driving an Artiga car from Khari to Ghantarapali when the vehicle lost balance near Khari High School and overturned into a roadside canal.

Locals rushed to the scene and immediately rescued Subrat. He was rushed to Sonepur District Headquarters Hospital, where doctors declared him dead upon arrival.

Later, Tarbha police reached the spot and launched a detailed investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Preliminary reports suggest that the vehicle may have skidded due to poor road conditions or driver fatigue.
