Keonjhar, Apr 28: A tragic road accident in Odisha's Keonjhar district has claimed the life of a biker, identified as Rajendra Behera from Mayurbhanj district's Sukruli area.

The incident occurred near Chatarpani on the Udaypur-Saharapada road under the jurisdiction of Patna police station.

According to reports, the collision involved a government official's vehicle heading towards Saharapada for a grievance hearing camp.

The vehicle, driven by the district supply officer, collided head-on with the biker traveling in the opposite direction. The impact was so severe that the biker succumbed to his injuries on the spot.

Eyewitnesses revealed that the government official fled the scene immediately after the accident, leaving behind a wave of anger and unrest among local residents. The tragic incident sparked tension in the area, with locals demanding justice and accountability.
