Paradip, June 7: A shocking incident has unfolded at Paradip Light House Beach, where a youth from Kendrapara went missing while bathing in the sea.

The victim, identified as SK Aman, was part of a group of seven youngsters visiting the beach.

Despite the strict restriction on entering the waters, Aman and his friends ventured in, leading to the unfortunate mishap.

The Marine Police and Fire Department rushed to the site and launched a search operation, however, there has been no trace of the missing youth so far.

The incident has raised serious concerns about safety enforcement along the beach. Citizens are questioning how visitors were able to enter the prohibited waters despite warnings.

Additionally, many are asking why police patrols were absent, even though the Marine Police Station is located just 300 meters from the site.

Local authorities have assured that search efforts will continue, and measures will be taken to strengthen beach surveillance to prevent such tragedies in the future.
