Traffic Guidelines Issued For A Smooth Bali Yatra; 10 Parking Grounds Designated

The Bhubaneswar- Cuttack twin city Commissionerate Police has issued traffic guidelines to ensure a smooth Bali Yatra, a historical festival of the State, for eight days from November 15 to 22.  

Cuttack, Nov 14: The Bhubaneswar- Cuttack twin city Commissionerate Police has issued traffic guidelines to ensure a smooth Bali Yatra, a historical festival of the State, for eight days from November 15 to 22.  

Movement of cars and motorcycles has been restricted to different parking places to avoid congestion on roads leading to the Bali Yatra ground.  

Parking spaces have been created at Bhuasuni Padia, Christian Paia near Anand Bhawan, Dayashram Parking Ground, Kartikeshwar Gada (Western Side), Kartikeshwar Gada (Eastern Side), A, B, C, D & E parking ground opposite of Chief Justice Residence,  Gorakabar Ground, Bose Engineering Parking ground, Matamatha parking ground and Krushak Bazaar Parking Ground. 

Light vehicles coming from Bhubaneswar via Trisulia and from Athagarh and Banki through Naraj bridge and Madhusudan Seth will have to park vehicles at Bhuasuni parking ground and can avail of shuttle bus service to Cantonment PS to reach Bali Yatra ground.  

No two-wheelers coming from Chahata chhack will be allowed to Baliyatra ground. They can park vehicles at Kartkeswar Parking Ground.

Four-wheeler and three-wheeler vehicles will not be allowed from Deer Park to Bali Yatra ground. These vehicles have to park at Christian Parking Ground. 

Those vehicles coming from Jobra and Mathamatha chhak will park vehicles at designated parking place near the Bose Engineering College. 

Violators of traffic guidelines will be fined Rs 500 which may be extended up to Rs 1000 per offence.
