Puri, Aug 26: A tourist from Delhi was killed after a speeding motorcycle collided with a rickshaw near the Mausima Temple on Bada Danda.

The deceased has been identified as Jogendra Singh, a resident of Delhi.

According to reports, Jogendra was travelling in the rickshaw when the motorcycle struck it with force, causing fatal injuries. As a result, Singh was declared dead at the scene.

The rickshaw puller and two other victims involved in the crash also sustained injuries. They were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Following the incident, Kumbharapada Police reached the spot and seized both the damaged rickshaw and the motorcycle. An investigation into the circumstances has also been initiated.
