Tourist Bus Meets Accident In Bhubaneswar; 1 Killed, 15 Injured

Bhubaneswar, Apr 6: In a tragic mishap, an elderly woman from Bangladesh was killed and 15 others sustained critical injuries as a tourist bus, in which they were travelling, met with an accident at Kaushalyagang Chhak in Bhubaneswar early Sunday morning.
Two ISKCON buses from Bangladesh were on their way to Puri when the accident occurred. One of them skidded off the road and fell into a roadside ditch at Kaushalyagang at around 2 am. There were more than 65 passengers on the bus.
While the exact reason is yet to be known, it is suspected that the driver lost control of the wheels due to drowsiness.

✨Police personnel from Pipili PS and Uttara police outpost rushed in and, with the help of locals, rescued the passengers. The injured were taken to a hospital, where an elderly woman was declared dead.
