Toshali Crafts Mela Showcases Diverse Artistry with 500 Artisans, 250 Stalls & Cultural Extravaganza

Bhubaneswar, Dec 16: The 18th annual National Toshali Crafts Mela kicked off at Janata Maidan in Odisha's capital on Friday. Scheduled to run till December 26, the fair will provide a prominent platform for showcasing handloom and handicraft products. Over 500 artisans from across the country are part of the marketing platform, which features around 250 stalls exhibiting traditional crafts, textiles, artifacts, jewellery, home decor, and furniture. 

Open from 2:30 pm to 9:30 pm, the fair offers free entry to visitors. Janata Maidan is adorned to host one of Eastern India's most popular handloom and handicrafts fairs. A food court, featuring multi-cuisine and Odia delicacies, adds to the experience. Organized by the State Institute for Development of Arts and Crafts (SIDAC) on behalf of the Handlooms, Textiles & Handicrafts Department, Government of Odisha, the event provides a cultural and commercial extravaganza.
