Titlagarh, Nov 8: In an Argus News impact, an Anganwadi centre resumed functioning in Kandhkelgaon Gram Panchayat of Saintala Block in Balangir district.
Residents complained of irregularity in the selection process of Anganwadi helper (AWH) as two candidates were given appointment letter for one vacant seat.
As a reaction, the enraged residents locked up the Anganwadi centre (AWC). Many pre-school children were unable to attend class.

✨After the news was broadcast on Argus News, a team constituting BDO Binay Bhoi and CDPO Sabita Das intervened and opened the locks.
"The decision of the Sub-Collector, Saintala will be regarded as final in this regard," said the CDPO.
