Bhubaneswar, May 14: Following the success of Operation Sindoor, a massive Tiranga Yatra was organised in Bhubaneswar as a tribute to the valor of the Indian Armed Forces.

The event was inaugurated by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, who flagged off the rally with great enthusiasm.

Starting at 8 AM from Kalinga Stadium, the rally proceeded toward Raj Bhavan, with active participation from police forces, security personnel, public representatives, and citizens. Holding tricolor flags, they rode motorcycles across the city, chanting "Vande Mataram!" in unison.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister emphasised that Operation Sindoor’s success strengthens the nation’s stand against terrorism. He stated that when Indians unite under the tricolor, no force can succeed against them. The three colors of the national flag, he highlighted, symbolize respect, harmony, and patriotism, inspiring every citizen towards dedication, sacrifice, and perseverance.

Referring to last year’s Tiranga Yatra, held on August 14, he recalled the overwhelming enthusiasm among participants and noted that the same spirit prevails today. He credited Operation Sindoor’s triumph to the determination of the country’s mothers and sisters, expressing deep respect for the brave soldiers safeguarding the nation.

He also reiterated Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, asserting that India stands secure and strong under his guidance. The Prime Minister’s vision for a powerful India ensures peace and security, necessitating strategic military strength when required. Operation Sindoor, he affirmed, is a testament to India's readiness in facing challenges.

The event was graced by Deputy Chief Ministers Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and Pravati Parida, along with several cabinet ministers, further underscoring its significance in India's ongoing journey against terrorism.
