Mayurbhanj, Dec 22: Tigress 'Jinnat' has moved to Belpahadi jungle in West Bengal and efforts have been initiated to bring her back to Simlipal National Park.
The Simlipal Tiger Project Director stated this on Sunday.
"Tigress Jinnat is currently found moving in Belpaharid Jungle in West Bengal. Efforts are on to bring the tigress back to Shimilipal," said the director. The director said teams have kept a vigil on the movement of the tigress, Jinnat. Jinnat has already visited jungles in three States- Odisha, Jharkhand and West Bengal. It crossed railway tracks at Chakulia.

✨The Director also informed that the tigress 'Jamuna', brought from Maharashtra, is currently moving in the Kuladiha jungle alone.
Notably, ‘Jamuna’ was released into Odisha’s Simlipal Tiger Reserve after being relocated from Maharashtra’s Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve in November.
