Bolangir, Jul 12: Residents of Badamal under Saintala police limits have been gripped by fear after reports of a tiger roaming near the ammunition factory has surfaced.

The matter came to fore after a video showing the tiger moving through the factory premises went viral on social media, deepening concern among locals.

As of now, forest officials are yet to pinpoint the exact area within the Badamal factory where the tiger was spotted. This uncertainty has heightened public anxiety, especially as no official confirmation or action seems to have reached the Forest Department yet.

The circulating video has caused widespread panic. People in the vicinity have become increasingly apprehensive, with many avoiding outdoor activities until the situation is clarified.

Locals are urging authorities to take swift action to verify the presence of the animal and implement safety measures to protect both residents and factory workers.
