Bhubaneswar, July 13: The Regional Meteorological Centre has issued a Yellow Alert for 26 districts across Odisha, forecasting widespread rainfall over the next five days. A trough line-induced cyclonic circulation has formed, leading to expectations of moderate to heavy rainfall in various parts of the state.

Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning may occur in several regions, with rainfall intensity likely to peak between July 13 and July 17. Light to moderate showers are predicted in most districts, while select areas may witness intense downpours.
