Mayurbhanj, Aug 13: Three poachers were arrested from Similipal sanctuary in Mayurbhanj district last night.
The arrestees have been identified as Srimat Majhi alians Kanda (54) of Mathabeda village under Baripada Sadar police station, Karu Hansda alias Jatri (55), and Budhan Majhi of Belapahadi village under Badasahi police station limit.
The forest officials traced the poachers through the trap cameras installed in the sanctuary. They seized three guns, two half-made guns, animal horns, eight arrows, two bows, and explosives from the miscreants.
