Berhampur, Apr 6: In a heartrending incident, three of a family committed suicide by consuming poison in Palibandha gram panchayat of Ganjam district last night.
The deceased persons were identified as Mami Reddy and her son Rakesh Reddy and daugher Meena Reddy.
According to the information, villagers rushed the three people to the MKCG Medical College and Hospital in a critical conditions.
However, doctors declared them dead. Though the exact reason is yet to be known, it is suspected that the trio ended their lives over a family feud. Police have reached the spot and started investigation.
