Bhubaneswar, Feb 11: In a tragic incident, three persons were killed in a road accident after their bike collided with a speeding car in Bhubaneswar, late Monday night.

The accident took place near Sai Temple on Cuttack-Puri Bypass and all the three persons reportedly died on the spot. The collision was so terrifying that the car dragged the bike for about 100 metres.

An investigation is underway in this connection and, so far, it has been reported that the deceased from outside Odisha. The police said that they have found out that the deceased were doing labour works in GGP Colony.

The car driver fled from the scene after the accident and is now absconding. However, the car owner is being interrogated.

The police have recovered the bodies and sent them to Capital Hospital for post-mortem. More details are awaited as investigation is underway.
