Jagatsinghpur, Mar 23: At least three persons sustained serious injuries following an explosion at a book store in Balikuda area of Jagatsinghpur district.

Reportedly, the three critical victims have been shifted to SCB Medical College & Hospital in Cuttack.

While exact cause of the explosion at the book store remains unclear, on the other hand, police have reached the spot and initiated a probe into the incident.

Meanwhile, firefighters have also reached the site and are engaged in bringing the flames under control.

Sources said books worth lakhs of rupees have burnt to ashes.
