Bhubaneswar, Nov 17: Tension gripped Shree Baikuntha Dham Ashram at Khandagiri after an incident of a 15-year-old boy being worshipped as a god in the Ashram was alleged by some locals.
According to the allegation, Pandit Kashinath Mishra, who claims to have given religious discourse for many years, reportedly proclaimed his son as Kalki's incarnation. His son was worshiped as Kalki in the Ashram. A video of the boy being worshiped with Tulsi and flowe at his feet was found in social media. After this, a group of youths entered the Ashram and protested. To their astonishment, they also found costly vehicles in the Ashram.
Based on a complaint, the Khandagiri police rushed to the spot and started an investigation.
Meanwhile, Pandit Kashinath Mishra, in a video, clarified that he never said at any point in time that his son was a god.

✨"It is a conspiracy by some people who have parted ways with me. With an ulterior motive, they have cunningly taken a photo of my son and made it public," said Kashinath.
Stating that his son's birthday was celebrated in a friend's house 10 years ago, Kashinath said the photo might be of that time when his son was only five years old.
