Bhubaneswar, May 24: The issue of 'hijacking of Odisha power' by VK Pandian has also been opposed in own state, Tamil Nadu.
Tamil Nadu BJP president K Annamalai has questioned the role of VK Padian in Odisha politics.
Annamalai said Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has handed over his power to VK Pandian who is not accountable to the people of the State.
"Generally, local people do politics and for government. The Prime Minister of India needs to be an Indian. What is happening in the BJD is against the people of Odisha," said Annamalai.
"Who is VK Pandian? He is a Punjab-cadre IAS Officer," said Annamalai.
He said Pandian has now grabbed power in the name of the Chief Minister.

✨Stating that the DGP and the Chief Secretary of Odisha are not allowed to meet the Chief Minister, Annamalai said the two top officers can call on Pandian only.
"Is it democrary," questioned the Tamil Nadu BJP president.
Annamalai said the Prime Minster targeted the BJD over this issue during his recent Odisha visit.
