Bhubaneswar, May 14: In a dramatic turn of events, Bhubaneswar police successfully rescued a four-year-old boy who was abducted from Bhoi Nagar.

The operation, led by Saheed Nagar Police Station and the Special Squad, resulted in the safe recovery of the child within two hours and the arrest of the accused, Abhishek Digal.

According to reports, the abductor, identified as Sonu Kumar, allegedly lured the child away under the pretense of taking him out for a walk. The child’s foster uncle, who orchestrated the abduction, switched off his mobile phone immediately after taking the boy, making it difficult for the family to trace him.

Upon receiving the complaint, police swiftly tracked the suspect’s mobile number, leading them to Salia Sahi, where the child was found unharmed. The accused was arrested on the spot, and further investigations are underway to determine the motive behind the abduction.

Authorities have assured that strict action will be taken against the perpetrator, and efforts will be intensified to prevent such incidents in the future.
