Bhubaneswar, Nov 2: The Commissionerate police today unearthed the Jatni minor boy stabbing death case claiming a Plus-II boy slayed the Class-IX student, Swarup Palatasingh, over tuition fee payment to the latter's parents, who are teachers.
The accused has conceded to the crime, said DCP Prateek Singh.
"The Plus-II student had to pay a tuition fee of Rs 3,000 to Rs 5,000 to the parents of the victim Class-IX student. He was being asked to pay the tuition fee often. He felt harassed and turned revengeful," said the DCP.

Notably, a miscreant stabbed Swarup at multiple places while he was studying in a room on the ground floor of his house at Benapanjari in the Jatni area last evening. At that time, his father Manoj Palatasingh was giving tuition to some students on the first floor. His mother and sister were also upstairs.
