Sundargarh, Nov 6: A man and his wife has been critically injured as a fire mishap occured during  cooking in their house at Bapas Chamber Colony under Bonai police station in Sundargarh district.

According to reports, Anita Lakra, wife of Shivaji Ram accidently caught fire during cooking. The husband Shivaji Ram woke up hearing the screams of his wife and rush to save her from fire. He also received serious burn injuries.

The husband is an OMC employee in Khandadhara. They were living in a rented accommodation.

However, the family saw the fire and rescued both of them. Later, both of them were admitted to the hospital for treatment. After primary treatment there, they were sent to Rourkela hospital for further treatment.
