Bonai, March 23: In a shocking incident, three persons were killed and two others sustained critical injuries as a hyva truck rammed over them at Jamudihi tollgate in Sundargarh district on Sunday evening.
According to the information, some people, including drivers of line vehicles, were standing at a tea stall to have tea sips when a hyva truck rammed into the shop. As a result, a tea stall owner Sunita Choudhury and two drivers came under its wheels and died. Two others, identified as Sunita's husband Ranjit Chakraborty and their six-year-old son, were injured seriously. The injured have been rushed to Lahunipada Hospital.

✨On being informed, local police reached the spot and started an investigation. The police suspect that the Hyva driver lost control of the wheels because of a brake failure.
The driver fled the spot soon after the accident. Further information is awaited.
