Cuttack, July 13: More than 40 students from Ravenshaw University have suddenly fallen ill and were admitted to SCB Medical College for treatment. While many were shifted to the non-trauma casualty ward, over 20 students were placed under observation in the diarrhoea ward.


All affected students reportedly belong to the New PG Hostel and Dharmapada Hostel. A special medical team has been assigned to care for the students. The Registrar of Ravenshaw University and the Superintendent of SCB Medical College visited the hospital to check on their health and investigate the situation.
