Key Points

Subhadra Portal Reopens August 9 after third installment.

Women aged 21+ eligible to apply; fresh survey to include 2 lakh left-out beneficiaries. 93,000 senior citizens shifted to SSEPD for pension benefits; no reapplication needed.

Bhubaneswar, Jul 30: Odisha’s much-anticipated Subhadra Yojana is set to enter its third phase, with the official portal reopening on August 9 after the third installment, as announced by Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida.

The flagship scheme, aimed at empowering women through financial assistance, will now allow young women aged 21 and above to apply.

In a bid to include previously excluded beneficiaries, the government will conduct a fresh survey to identify and onboard nearly 2 lakh women who were left out in earlier phases. These include individuals who were disqualified due to owning vehicles, possessing more than 5 acres of land, or having filed income tax returns.
