Bhubaneswar, Nov 9: Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida on Saturday said that around 20 lakh more beneficiaries under the Subhadra Yojana will receive their first instalment of Rs 5,000 on November 24.
Earlier, the State government disbursed Rs 5,000 each to around 60 lakh beneficiaries in two phases under its Subhadra Yojana.
Speaking to media persons here, Parida said, “Around 20 lakh women beneficiaries during the third phase of disbursement are set receive the money in their bank accounts on November 24 at a function to be held at Sundergarh.”
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram are scheduled to attend the function at Sundergarh.
The remaining eligible beneficiaries will get the money in the 4th phase of disbursement in December, Parida said.
