Bhubaneswar, Sep 10: In a major announcement following the Subhadra Yojana review, Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida revealed that the government will conduct a door-to-door survey to identify and include 2.85 lakh women who were excluded from the third phase of the scheme.

To streamline the grievance redressal process, a dedicated complaint portal will be launched within two days. Excluded beneficiaries will be able to file complaints and reapply for inclusion under the scheme.

Additionally, 36,702 women were excluded for owning vehicles, 21,035 for paying income tax, and 1,33,691 for being registered as paddy sellers or farmers.

Parida emphasized that these cases will be reviewed thoroughly, and final decisions will be taken after discussions with the Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi. The government aims to ensure that no eligible woman is deprived of her rightful benefits under the Subhadra Yojana.

This move reflects the administration’s commitment to transparency and inclusivity in welfare delivery, especially for women across Odisha.
