Bhubaneswar, Sept 14: The State government has declared 'Janata Maidan', where Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to launch Subhadra Yojana on September 17, as a 'No Drone Zone/ No Flying Zone.
"Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Bhubaneswar to launch the mega flagship programme of the government, 'Subhadra' September 17 at Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar. From the security point of view, the place of function has been declared 'NoDrone Zone/ No Flying Zone' area," a release of DIPRO, Khordha read.
Notably, Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to visit the city on his birthday on September 17 in order to launch the Subhadra Yojana as per a promise made by the BJP in its election manifesto.
Under this programme, women aged between 21 and 60 years will be given an aid of Rs 50,000 in 10 equal installments in five years. Each installment of Rs 5,000 will be distributed to beneficiaries on Raksha Bandhan Day and International Women's Day each year.

✨The Prime Minister will disburse the first installment on the inaugural day. As many as 70,000 women are expected to witness the launching event.
According to Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida, all women having submitted applications on or before September 15 will get the first installment after the inauguration of the scheme by the Prime Minister on September 17.
There is no time limit for applying, she said.
