Jajpur, Nov 5: Lack of teachers in schools is a major problem in many parts of the Odisha. Even after multiple letters, requests and visits to the authorities the students of Prahlad Chandra Brahmachari Government High School in Jajpur district are deprived of teachers. 

The students of Standard nine have put up their demands in a peculiar way. The students had their exam today. As they had no teacher to take classes, they staged a protest in a different way. 

"We were not taught Sanskrit. We have written whatever we know. Do not expect much from us. We do not have teachers to take classes. Kindly do not expect much from us", wrote the students in their answer sheet.

The school doesn't have faculties in Sanskrit and History. "We have complained many times to our authorities and met the Collector also, but nothing has been done", said the Headmistress Sanjukta Dei.

"The previous teacher was sent on deputation, following which there is no Sanskrit teacher", she added.

The parents have gheraoed the headmistress and demanded an explanation for the matter.
