Bhubaneswar, Jan 13: Union Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Saturday said students need to be upskilled with a scientific mentality as India is heading to become the number-one economy in the world in the coming days.
The Union Minister stated this while laying the foundation stone for the permanent building of the Kendriya Vidyalaya at Deogarh.
"Bharat has already emerged as the world's fifth-largest economy. It is heading to become the number-one economy in the coming days. For this, we have to upskill our students," contended Pradhan.
Terming Deogarh a cultural city and home to literates, Pradhan said education is its basic growth point. He said Deogarh's contributions to fostering Odia literature, language, and culture are incomparable.

✨He stated that the permanent building of the Deogarh Kendriya Vidyalaya would be constructed for Rs 32 crore to be provided by the Government of India.
"It will be a good and full-fledged school after the construction of the permanent campus. Based on the New Education Policy, this school will focus on athletics, song, and magic, besides quality education," he said.
