Bhubaneswar, Apr 25: Revenue and Disaster Minister Suresh Pujari once again warned that stringent action will be taken against those schools that will run classes defying the government order.
The Minister issued a standard operating procedure (SOP) in this regard. He asked schools to follow the SOP and close the schools as per the Government order.
"Heatwave situation is getting intense. Schools will remain closed until a further order is issued," said the Minister.

✨If any school flouts the government order, stringent action will be taken against it, said the Minister. The Minister's warning looks targeted at private educational institutions.
Meanwhile, the Minister appealed to people not to go outside if they don't have any necessary work. He directed the Community Health Centres (CHCs) and Public Health Centres (PHCs) to open special wards to treat sunstroke victims.
