Jharsuguda, May 17: In a shocking incident, stones were pelted at the Puri-Hatia Tapaswini Express while it was passing between Rengali and Jharsuguda early on Saturday morning.

According to reports, stones were hurled at the moving train at around 5:30 am.

While the reason behind the attack remains unclear, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) in Jharsuguda has launched an investigation to identify those responsible.

Fortunately, the train's operations were not affected, and there were no injuries reported.

Meanwhile, authorities urge passengers to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activity to ensure railway safety.
