Bhubaneswar, Mar 2: The election committee of the Odisha State BJP will meet on March 6 to recommend names of candidates to the party's central committee for the Lok Sabha seats. Thereafter, the party will announce names for Odisha. 

Party's State president Manmohan Samal states this while responding to a media query as to why the first list of Lok Sabha candidates didn't figure any name from Odisha. 

"There is no dispute at all. The matter has been discussed. The election committee of State BJP will meet soon," said Samal. 

He further informed that party observers will submit their Lok Sabha and Assembly reports tomorrow. The election committee of the party will meet on March 6. Thereafter, the names of prospective candidates will be sent to the center. On approval, the names of the candidates will be released, said Samal.
