Sri Jagannath Darshan To Be Restricted From 3 Hours Tomorrow For Banakalagi Ritual

Puri, Feb 20: The darshan at the Puri temple will be restricted for three hours tomorrow evening on account of Banakalagi rituals.
Devotees will not be allowed to have darshan of the deities from 6pm to 9pm. Darshan will resume after the Banakalagi rituals, informed the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA).

As per traditions, Datta Mohapatra servitors will adorn Lord Balabhadra, Goddess Subhadra and Lord Jagannath with sacred and traditional colours like green, red, saffron, black and white in the Banakalagi Niti.
Usually, Banakalagi rituals are held every alternate Wednesday.
