Angul, Apr 8: An accident occurred near Kuio bridge under Sadar police station in Angul late last night. Moments later, the car caught fire and was completely gutted. However, no casualties was reported in the incident.

According to reports, the accident took place after the driver of the vehicle lost control near the curve and dashed into a divider over Kuio bridge. Following the incident, the vehicle caught fire due to a short circuit. The car was quickly engulfed in flames and reduced to ashes.

However, the driver managed to escape from the vehicle and is reportedly safe.

Later, police and fire department were alerted, who then rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.
