Puri, Jun 25: In a landmark moment, a special train service has been launched from Badampahar to Puri, which will enable the devotees to connect to the Purushottam Dham for the world-famous Rath Yatra.

According to India Rail Info, the train, numbered 08379, is a special fare special train and will operate between Badampahar (BMPR) and Puri (PURI).

The initiative, made possible with the efforts of President Droupadi Murmu, has turned a long-cherished dream into reality for residents of the Bamanghati region.

The special pilgrimage train marks not only a logistical convenience but also a symbol of empowerment and cultural unity in the run-up to one of India’s most revered religious festivals.
