Sundargarh, Mar 9: A property dispute turned deadly at Chhurichukha village under Kutra police limits in Sundargarh district , when a youth brutally murdered his father.

The accused identified as Suraj Tete attacked his father Siranus Tete with an axe.

According to reports, an argument ensued between Suraj and his father Siranus over some issue. The situation took an ugly turn after Suraj, in a fit of rage, attacked Siranus with an axe. Following the incident, Siranus died on the spot.

On being informed, police rushed to the spot and launched a probe into the incident.

The body was seized and sent to Rajgangpur hospital for an autopsy. On the other hand, the police have arrested the accused youth in connection with the case.
