Jajpur, Aug 30: In a deeply tragic and heart-wrenching incident, two members of the same family died within hours in Gobandia village under Balichandrapur police limits in Jajpur district, Odisha.
The sequence of sorrow began on Thursday night when 15-year-old Ankita Priyadarshini Paramanik was bitten by a venomous snake while sleeping at home. The bite went unnoticed until early Friday morning when symptoms of poisoning became visible.
She was immediately rushed to Mahanga Community Health Centre and later transferred to SCB Medical College in Cuttack. Despite efforts, doctors declared her dead upon arrival.

Overcome with grief, he suffered a sudden heart attack. Villagers rushed him to Badachana Community Health Centre, but he was also declared dead by the attending doctors.
