On Friday afternoon, a group of villagers ventured into the forest for work when they discovered wild mushrooms and decided to cook and consume them, unknowingly leading to a serious health crisis.
However, upon returning home, all of them began experiencing symptoms of poisoning, including vomiting, before losing consciousness.

✨Concerned villagers immediately rescued the affected individuals and admitted them to Mohana Health Center. Due to the severity of their conditions, five of them were later referred to MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur for advanced treatment. One individual, whose condition is relatively stable, continues to receive medical care at a nearby healthcare facility.
Authorities are urging caution against consuming unidentified wild mushrooms, as they can be highly toxic and potentially life-threatening.
