Similipal, Jan 1: Tigress 'Zeenat' has arrived at Similipal sanctuary in Mayurbhanj district late Tuesday night after 24 days.

Zeenat was at the Alipur zoo in Kolkata. She left Kolkata at around 8 pm Tuesday (Dec 31, 2024) and reached Similipal at around 1.30 am (Jan 1, 2025).

She was taken to the north zone of the Similipal sanctuary via Kalikaprasad in Joshipur tehsil.

Zeenat will reportedly be released inside the soft enclosure in the north zone of the Similipal.
