Bhubaneswar, Aug 23: The Commissionerate Police will again bring Raju Mandal, the main accused in the SIM Box recovery case, in a two-day remand to interrogate him further.
Raju Mandal was interrogated for five days while he was brought in a five-day remand that was completed recently. During this time, a SIM box unit was recovered in Ranchi, Jharkhand's State capital city.
According to the information, the court has already permitted the Laxmisagar police to take Raju Mandal in remand for a second round of interrogation. The police were allowed a two-day remand while it sought for a seven-day remand.
During the second-take remand, police will try to know more about Raju's Kolkata link and his relationship with mastermind Asdur Jaman.

✨The police will also try to investigate the source of money that financed the operation of so many SIM boxes.
It may be noted that SIM Boxes were first recovered from a rented house in the Laxmisagar area in the capital city. Later, five SIM Boxes were also recovered from the Kalyaninagar area in Cuttack City.
