New Delhi/ Bhubaneswar, June 23: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Monday paid rich tributes to the eminent nationalist leader and Jansangh founder Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee on his death anniversary.
"Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, the founder of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh and a great patriot, was not merely a leader for the workers of the Bharatiya Janata Party or the Jana Sangh—he was an embodiment of an ideology. He consistently emphasized the importance of preserving India's unity and integrity," said Pradhan.

✨Pradhan, along with Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, paid floral tributes at Dr Mookerjee's statue at the Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Park in New Delhi.
Pradhan said the Bharatiya Jana Sangh or the Bharatiya Janata Party is not merely an organization, but an ideology. Our system of governance is not meant for indulgence, but for good governance. At its core lies the original philosophy of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. Dr. Mukherjee sacrificed his life fighting for One Nation – One Constitution.
