Puri, Jan 23: Concerned over frequent incidents of inside Shreemandir photos going viral on social media, the State government is now mulling to erect watch towers outside the temple to detect drone-flying.

Drones are taking inside images of the Shreemandir. A tall watch tower can dectect the direction and initiation point of drones. Then legal action can be taken against drone flyers as per law.

"It is a welcome step to dected drone flying for safety of the Shreemandir," said a local lawyer. Notably, there were four watch towers on the four sides of the Shreemandir before the 'Parikrama Prakalpa was undertaken.

During the project work, all these watch towers were dismantled. Now, four watch towers will be erected on the four sides of the shrine for safety of the Shreemandir.

Security personnel will keep vigil on the Shreemandir from these watch towers 7X24 hours.
