Puri, July 14: The Ratna Bhandar supervisory committee headed by Justice Biswanath Rath at its second meeting Tuesday passed a resolution to open the Ratna Bhandar of Shreemandir on July 14. 

"A resolution was passed to open the Ratna Bhandar on July 14. A proposal to this effect will be sent to the government for approval," Justice Rath said after presiding committee's second meeting today.

Responding to a media query, Justice Rath said keys will be produced before the committee on July 14 before the opening of the treasure house. 

"Today's resolution will be submitted to the Jagannath Temple Managing Committee. The managing committee will send the resolution to the State government for approval," said Justice Rath. 

The panel head asserted that the Darshan of deities will not be suspended during the opening of the Ratna Bhandar. He, however, contended that devotees might be seeing deities from a distance. He hoped that devotees would be cooperative.
