Shreemandir: Four Gates Oponed Again For Devotees' Entry

The State government lifted the restrictions on entry through all gates to Shree Jagannath Temple again today. 

Puri, Nov 16: The State government lifted the restrictions on entry through all gates to Shree Jagannath Temple again today. 

With the lifting of the restrictions, devotees can now enter the Shreemandir (Another Name for Shree Jagannath Temple) through all gates- Lion, Horse, Tiger, and Elephant Dwars in the east, south, west, and north sides, respectively. However, apart from Singhadwar (Lions' Gate), three other gates have been permitted for exit.

But the servitors and their family members can enter and exit through all gates.

Earlier in the holy month of Kartika, the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration had allowed entry only through the Singhadwar. Now, the holy month of Kartika is over and restrictions are lifted. 

The new darshan system planned for implementation at Natamandap is still under consideration. The system will be implemented after the approval of the Temple Managing Committee.
