Balasore, May 12: A shop located at Laupalagadi under Chandipur in Balasore district was gutted in fire triggered by an LPG cylinder explosion on Monday morning.

According to reports, the fire ignited illegally stored gas cylinders, resulting in three powerful blasts that sent panic throughout the area.

Authorities confirmed that the shop had stored gas tanks in violation of regulations, which fueled the intensity of the fire. The fire department quickly arrived at the scene and is currently working to bring the flames under control.
